I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education Major in Social Studies at Bago City College last March 2018. I graduated with high honors and received the Latin honor of Magna Cum Laude. I was also awarded as Social Studies Educator of the Year.
Experience
I'm a licensed professional teacher who majored in Social Science. I also had valuable experience in the ESL industry as an experienced English teacher for 2 years. My job was to provide English instruction for Japanese students. I taught the basics of the English Language namely Phonics, Sentence Construction, and Grammar. I also tutored them for their upcoming exams like TOEIC and EIKEN. I also worked as a part-time college instructor wherein I handled Social Sciences and History subjects. Aside from teaching the aforementioned subjects, I incorporated English proficiency and communication skills in my class. I worked as an English trainer in a BPO company wherein my service was to provide additional training and refresher courses that revolve around English Language and Customer Service. I worked with the Center's Management and Training to enhance the target audience's English proficiency. Teaching has always been a passion for me. It's an avenue to reach out to people and help them. For me, being a tutor extends my sphere of influence by reaching out to people from another side of the world. This also creates another opportunity to help my students learn better in a non-traditional manner and to provide intensive learning for them.
